How They Work

How To Customize Instant Smile Custom Fit Flex – 3 Easy Steps

Instant Smile Flex Teeth

Only Ten Minutes For The Perfect Smile!

Step 1

You will need a nice clean area, a metal spoon, and a cup or bowl.

Place teeth into very hot water until the teeth become flexible and the fitting material is soft all the way through. Tap water will not be hot enough, so the water will need to be heated to at least 130º fahrenheit (think simmering or just starting to boil). It might take 2-3 minutes for the fitting material to be heated all the way through. If the fitting material is not softening, then the water you are using is not not hot enough. Once heated properly, the teeth will be flexible and the fitting material will be very soft and pliable. After the fitting material is heated all the way through, remove the teeth and fitting material from the water with a metal spoon.

Please make sure you are careful when placing the teeth in and out of the hot water. It is ok to give them a few seconds before putting them in your mouth for safety.

Step 2

Using a mirror, firmly position the Instant Smile Teeth over your existing teeth. Press them firmly against your teeth and gently pat the impression material with your thumbs behind your real teeth.

Step 3

Gently ease the teeth out of your mouth after 30 seconds and set them aside for a few minutes to allow the material to cool and harden. Do not let the fitting material cool in your mouth, make sure you remove them after 30 seconds.

If you are unhappy with the fit, you can simply reheat and remold as many times as you want.

Instant Smile Teeth are designed to work best if you have some existing tooth structure. If you do not have any teeth, you can still fit the Instant Smile Teeth but you would likely need additional fitting material so that you can form the material around your gums.

How to fit the Temporary Tooth Replacement Kit

Removing the teeth if they become stuck around your existing teeth.

It is very rare for the teeth to become stuck around a persons teeth, but if they do, it is a simple process to remove them. It is important to remember that the fitting material does not actually stick to a persons teeth, so if the teeth are stuck, it just means that they have hardened around a persons teeth and will just need to be softened again so they lose their structure and can be removed. The fitting material can be softened with a cup of boiling water and a wash cloth. Please see the below video for more information.

How to avoid getting the teeth stuck:  When fitting the teeth, it is important to remove the teeth (after 30 seconds) while the fitting material is still soft and pliable. Like most temporary teeth veneers, our product is fit by using a thermal fitting material. The material softens when heated and hardens when it cools. It makes an imprint of your teeth.
